     Degas est connu comme le peintre des danseuses de l'Opéra et ceci est une reproduction à l'huile d'après un pastel original du Maître. Peint sur une toile brute non apprêtée, ce tableau a été réalisé avec autant de  fidélité que possible d'après la seule et unique photographie qui ait pu être trouvée de l'original.
     Le plus extraordinaire dans cette oeuvre de Degas est l'interaction entre les gammes de verts et d'oranges : un résultat explosif !

     Degas was known as the "painter of dancers" and this is an oil reproduction of a work he originally did in pastels. Painted on an un-primmed canvas, this work was reproduced as authentically as possible from the one and only photograph that could be found of this work.
     What is most amazing about this Degas is the spectacular interplay between the orange and green spectrums.  An electrifying work concerning its colours.
