Gustave Caillebotte est un personnage fascinant, tant du point de vue personnel (il fut un infatigable promoteur de l’impressionnisme) que du point de vue artistique (il explora des voies originales qu’il mit en œuvre dans sa peinture). Sa modestie fit qu’il ne fut pas reconnu à sa juste valeur avant une période récente. Art-katroz a fait de la reproduction des œuvres de Caillebotte une de ses principales activités et continuera dans cette direction dans les années à venir.

Gustave
Caillebotte was a
fascinating person, as much in a personal sense (he was a tireless
promotor of the impressionist movement)
as as an artist himself (he explored original ways, including the
use of photography for an original compositional approach). His modesty
was such that his true worth as a painter was not recognised until recent
years. Art-katroz has made the reproduction of the works of Gustave
Caillebotte one of its principal projects and will continue in this
direction in the years to come.
